Description:
Photograph album with CDV portraits. Brown leather exterior with gilt edges. Brass hinges on right edge. Photographs inserted in cut-out panels, mostly two per leaf. First few pages are disbound. Many subjects identified in ms on mounts. Fair condition overall. Cover is detached; spine is loose but intact. Pages are yellowed with dirt smudges and stains throughout. Most photographs are in fair condition overall; most reveal the effects of oxidation through fading and discoloration, in addition to some foxing in isolated areas.
