Northern California unites to honor Sacramento's Urban Search and Rescue Team. On September 29, 2001, eighteen days after the tragedy on September 11, 5,200 people from Sacramento came together to form a human flag. Local citizens wanted to show their support for the victims, the heroes that fight for our freedom and safety, and the Sacramento Urban Search and Rescue Team that joined the rescue effort in New York.
